Fasting & Prayer

The word "fast" is derived from the Hebrew term tsom, which refers to the practice of self-denial. The Greek word nesteia also refers to self-denial. It means voluntary abstinence from food. As we fast, we pray. Prayer is simply communicating with God as we do with our loved ones. It is important that we approach prayer with an attitude of expectancy in faith. Faith is believing, "[it] is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see." - Hebrews 11:1

Faith In Action
At New Beginnings Fellowship, we believe tithing is an act of faith and obedience that honors God with the first fruits of our increase, as taught in Malachi 3:10: “Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse… and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven.” Offerings and seed gifts go beyond the tithe—fueling the vision of our church, supporting outreach, missions, and ministry growth. Every gift helps us create new beginnings for individuals and families, both inside and outside our walls. Thank you for sowing into good ground.
